Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG)
The Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG) is one of the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s (SAMHSA) infrastructure and service delivery grant programs, designed to help states build, deliver, and sustain effective prevention services for reducing substance abuse problems.
CalOMS Prevention is a fully web-based data collection service for primary prevention service/activity data funded with the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) block grant dollars via the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.
Friday Night Live (FNL)
Friday Night Live (FNL) is a youth development program that engages young people in building skills, attitudes, knowledge, and experiences that prepare them for the present and the future. It also facilitates their efforts to become fully prepared, capable, competent people. The program includes FNL for high school aged-youth, Club Live (CL) for middle school aged-youth, and FNL Kids for youth in fourth through sixth grades.
Community Prevention Initiative (CPI)
The CPI website is designed as an internet-based resource for California's alcohol and drug program providers. It provides access to general information and application forms for various services, including technical assistance, workshops, learning communities, document archives, publications, and consultants.
Governor's Prevention Advisory Council (GPAC)
GPAC works to coordinate the State's strategic efforts to achieve measurable reductions in the incidence and prevalence of the inappropriate use of alcohol and other drugs by youth and adults.
Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities (SDFSC) - Governor's Program
The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities (SDFSC) Program is the federal government’s primary vehicle for reducing drug, alcohol and tobacco use, and violence, through education and prevention activities in the nation’s schools and communities.
