Criminal Justice Success Stories
Consent Form for the publication of personal success stories /
Submission Procedures
This webpage was developed to “put a face on recovery” for the various criminal justice programs in
which alcohol and other drug treatment is provided in California. It presents actual stories of former
clients throughout California who have achieved success as a result of treatment in the criminal justice
arena. The intent of doing this is to share life experiences of real people, including the positive impact
treatment has had on their lives and on the lives of their families and communities.
ADP invites those in the treatment community to submit personal stories prepared by recent clients, program alumni,
and others who have accepted the help of community alcohol and drug treatment programs and successfully rebuilt
their lives after having been released on parole, probation, had their drivers license restored folowing a DUI
offense, or completed a diversion program.
Submission process: use the links above to request a consent form to allow website publication, then follow
the instructions provided in the "Submission Procedures" document. Stories forwarded for publication will
normally be posted within several working days.
